1st National Festival of LGBT History


A world-first popular festival in Manchester, celebrating three centuries of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans history, run entirely by LGBT History Month volunteers

Events at Central Library explore three centuries of LGBTQ identity. Campaigners and academics behind groups such as the Campaign for Homosexual Equality, the Lesbian Information Service, and Press for Change discuss their life work, legacy, successes, and regrets.

School’s OUT UK will offer children, educators, parents and governors the chance to experience educational, fun, and inclusive activities for children of all ages.

And the world premier of a groundbreaking immersive theatre event: A Very Victorian Scandal.
