NUT Disabled Teachers’ lunch and working party

disabled

Are you a disabled NUT member, or interested in disabled issues?

As a result of this year’s Disabled Teachers’ Conference, colleagues are meeting in Manchester for lunch and a general chat, with the aim of coming up with ways to improve the working lives of all disabled NUT members in the NW.

The meeting will take place at The Left Bank Café at The People’s History Museum, Left Bank, Spinningfields, Manchester M3 3ER, at 1:30 pm on Saturday 12th November. All interested members are welcome.

Free tickets for Manchester NUT members

Manchester Community Safety Forum is holding a follow up to its conference on Daesh, this time on the dangers of the far right, on Friday Nov 18 at 6.30pm. There will be an excellent line up of expert speakers, and a three course meal. The event takes place at the British Muslim Heritage Centre in Whalley Range (see flyer). Individual tickets are priced £15, but Manchester Teachers’ Association has paid for a table for ten, tickets for which are available for free on a first come, first served basis for interested Manchester NUT members.

Contact us if you’re a Manchester member and wish to attend for free. Email secretary@manchester.nut.org.uk  or telephone 0161 945 5062.
